PICOSECOND WORKSTATION / ARTICULATED ARM & WAVELENGTH OPTIONS

Measured pulse width

Request waveform evidence for any quoted 300ps to 450ps specification.

Articulated optical arm

Confirm joint count, transmission data and alignment requirements.

Wavelength options

Review 1064nm / 532nm and optional 585nm / 650nm availability.

Optical physics & wavelength matrix

Compare pulse evidence, wavelengths and beam delivery.

Review measured optical performance alongside the planned indications. A short pulse specification alone does not establish treatment suitability or eliminate thermal effects.

PULSE DURATION

Verified sub-nanosecond output

Request oscilloscope waveforms, measurement conditions and pulse duration at each supplied wavelength. Review peak optical power separately from pulse energy.

WAVELENGTH MATRIX

Tattoo & pigment applications

Compare 1064nm / 532nm with optional 585nm / 650nm dye handpieces. Confirm availability, compatible output and intended use for each attachment.

BEAM PROFILE

Top-hat beam & zoom handpieces

Request measured beam-profile data and the actual spot-size range. Confirm whether zoom is motorized and how energy settings relate to each spot size.

Technician inspecting a laser optical handpiece and lens housings on a work mat

Optical articulation & fractional optics

Review the delivery arm and fractional lens package.

Compare arm balance, beam alignment and optical care before ordering. Confirm whether a 7-joint articulated arm and Focus honeycomb array are supplied with the selected model.

Coated optical components

Request component origin, transmission test conditions and alignment specifications for the quoted arm.

Focus honeycomb / DOE lens

Confirm compatibility, intended applications and model-specific evidence for Laser-Induced Optical Breakdown (LIOB).

Protected lens housings

Review dust protection, cleaning instructions and replacement optics. Agree who performs alignment and servicing.

Infrastructure & safety standards

Prepare the room for stable laser operation.

Confirm installation, electrical supply and laser-room controls for the exact console. Include safety accessories and applicable documentation in the quotation.

Chassis power & grid requirements

Review electrical load, voltage, frequency and any stabilization requirements. Confirm 110V or 220V compatibility rather than assuming universal operation.

Clinical safety & calibration

Confirm Class 4 laser controls where applicable, interlocks and the supplied protection kit. Verify eyewear wavelength coverage and required optical density; OD7+ alone is not a complete selection specification.

Optical verification dossier

Request energy measurements, pulse-width reports and alignment instructions. Confirm the applicable CE documentation and EMC/LVD test scope for the selected model and destination.

Build your quotation

Request a picosecond proposal & pulse width report.

Share your clinical scope and client profile. Request available oscilloscope waveforms, optical transmission data and an itemized quotation for the selected configuration.

Clinical indication focus

Describe tattoo and pigment applications or fractional treatment requirements for model-specific review.

Optical attachment mix

Specify 1064nm / 532nm zoom optics, a honeycomb DOE array or optional 585nm / 650nm dye handpieces.

Console & branding

Share room space, portable or wheeled preferences, casing colour and interface branding requirements.

Technical & order FAQ

Practical questions on pulse evidence, safety and optics.

How do we verify the picosecond pulse specification?

Request measured pulse-width waveforms for the exact model, wavelength and output settings. Check measurement equipment, method and report traceability. A product label alone does not verify pulse duration.

Does a picosecond pulse remove the risk of PIH?

No. Do not treat pulse duration as a guarantee against post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), burns or other adverse effects. Review the model’s intended use, client assessment and professional protocol.

What should we check about the Focus honeycomb / DOE lens?

Request compatibility, intended-use guidance and evidence supporting the quoted fractional applications. Confirm whether the attachment is included and which settings apply. Do not assume every fractional lens produces the same LIOB response.

Can voltage and interface language be customized?

Share destination voltage, frequency, plug and language needs before quotation. Available power configurations, interface languages and customization terms must be confirmed for the selected model.

What maintenance does the articulated delivery arm require?

Follow the supplied cleaning, handling and alignment instructions. Confirm inspection intervals, alignment-service arrangements and replacement optics. Sealed joints should not be assumed maintenance-free.

Which documents accompany an export order?

Request a model-specific document list covering optical measurements, applicable conformity documents and operating instructions. Confirm CE and EMC/LVD scope against the device and destination rather than assuming identical documentation for every order.

Configure a picosecond laser for your practice.

Discuss pulse-width reports, optical output data and a demonstration of the selected configuration before finalizing your quotation.
